The morning started with packing 250 bags of noodles, squash, and nutributter. We then took these bags to Oasis, a village that Hope of Life has just started working with. At this village, we were warmly greeted by the village elder. It was great to be able to interact with the people of the village and to be able to help show them the love of God by bringing them food. After we distributed the food we were able to play soccer with the kids and to truly love the people and get to know them. It was a great opportunity for us to reach out to a new community.
After our lunch break we were able to go out and tour Liberty college, the school that is here on the mission (it was bigger than New Life :P). It's awesome that they have such a great facility to educate the children in.
Lastly, we visited the Hope of Life village one last time. It was so great to be able to see the children and play with them and bring them gifts! We're really going to miss all of our friends that we made on this trip.
It was has been a wonderful time here on the mission, and we are all really sad that we have to go. :( God has really revealed himself to each and everyone of us and has taught us each a new lesson, and has opened our eyes to the needs of the people around us! Hopefully we will all come back with a greater servants heart and a greater love for God.
Tomorrow we leave for Antigua and will get to spend the day there sight seeing and shopping! This trip is ending all too soon! Can't wait to tell you more stories when we get back!
